Tuesday November 28th was a historical day for the Discalced Carmelite Fathers in Malta.
Father Martin Borg, prior in our convent in Cospicua, had the honor of being the first ever friar in Malta to be made a CANON in the Collegiate Chapter of Cospicua.

Besides helping out in the pastoral needs of the parish, Father Martin has worked very hard in embellishing the parish church with various works of art.
The celebration was officiated by the Archbishop of Malta himself.
November 28th is a very important day because it happens to be the anniversary of the Reform of the Discalced Carmelite Friars. The beginning was in 1568 just on this day! Coincidence?!
